Gnostic (γνῶσις) is defined as possessing intellectual or spiritual knowledge. If the Roman Emperor Constantine did not ban the other Gospels of the bible, what we could have discovered about Jesus? The Gospel of Thomas suggests that there are hidden words that the Jesus spoke that is lost because this gospel is recognized as heresy. I believe that when one person tries to manipulate to bring things under their control so many things/knowledge can be lost. However, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him." [1 Corinthians 2:9]
