Go Douglas County Sheriff, go!!!!!!! I was waiting at the light on 172nd and Q this morning, after dropping my boys off at Russell Middle School. I watched a big black truck (with ladders) run a red light, as a student started to approach the cross walk on his bike. It was still dark @ 7:15 am. I yelled NNNNOOOOOOOOO, as I was for sure he was going to hit the kid. I’ll be darned if a Douglas County Sherriff didn’t slowly go thru the intersection, to then speed up and catch the guy a block up Q. IT WAS AWESOME:) To the person in the black truck, you should feel blessed that all that happened was you got a ticket and you didn’t kill a student in front of a middle school. Shame on you!
