We have secured part of the financing from a group of private investors on the back our first feature, which is a great vote of confidence given that we are such a young production company. As with any film project, risks are understandably high and our private financing is therefore limited. Crucially, it does not cover pre-production, which we have financed out of our own pockets so far. Experience has taught us that preparation is essential to a successful shoot, and we now require additional financing for this essential stage. Hence us turning to Kickstarter. We need this money to prepare the big action sequences, perform extensive make-up tests, choreograph the fight scenes, and hold casting sessions.
