Go round all the kingdoms, towns, emirates, clans and villages, you will discover that people no longer allow men that are not well lettered to govern them. Illiterate kings are now being replaced by learned kings. Look round and you will discover that all Emirs in Nigeria today are well lettered men. Even in town unions, it is impossible for anyone to emerge as president general of any town union government if the person is not a graduate. It follows naturally that EDUCATION HAS TAKEN OVER. On that note, I start wondering what prompted our law makers to approve a law that minimum qualification for Parliament and Executive is Secondary School Certificate. The Judicial arm of government is still the best organized for one MUST BE LEARNED to operate in the arm. Now you readily know why they call themselves LEARNED GENTLEMEN. How can someone who is not learned sit as head of government governing well learned people? How did we get to this level where our country is always in the news for gross negative things? Now we have men and women that actually suckled the breasts of their mothers asking what is certificate. This is a shame. If ordinary FAMILY MEETINGS are no longer allowing men without certificates to rule over them, why should a country as gigantic as Nigeria come up with that fallacious provision in our constitution? It follows naturally that there is a scheme. People who have sense should emancipate their minds from bondage of awkward reasoning and think right. Education is key. A man who is not lettered, how will he understand simple economic theories and models as they concern economic growth and stability? How will he understand the dimension of Comparative Cost Advantage? How will he understand the manipulation of Gross Domestic Product? How will he understand the control of inflation and deflation? How will he cope in the arena of global politics? Truth is that GEJ may not have proved to be as decisive as he should be as the President of a Multifaceted country like Nigeria, this could be because of his academic background; the more concrete truth is that he is still far better than the other. Objectivism is always raw and raw things are bitter things. If beneficiaries of status quo who are grossly allergic to change have not created all the confusions, disturbances and insurgencies they created in the polity just to make the feeble minded believe GEJ is not fit, the man would have, in four years, dwarfed all their age long manipulations. One more time, I urge my friends, followers and foes to understand that Nigeria remains the only country we can convincingly call our country. Look deeper and you will discover that this government is laying a solid foundation for this economy. The rot that misfits created in almost forty years cannot be corrected in four years. The rot is rooted and endemic. That’s why your constitution empowers a holder of Ordinary level Certificate to be your president. When we talk of change, all those are the things that MUST BE CHANGED. IF ORDINARY LEVEL CERTIFICATE HOLDER IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE PRESIDENT OF ORDINARY TOWN UNION GOVERNMENT, WHY NIGERIA?
