God/Yahweh Will Provide!!! Shalom Brothers and Sisters, as many - TopicsExpress

God/Yahweh Will Provide!!! Shalom Brothers and Sisters, as many of you know for some time I have been having trouble with my Modem for Internet. It even went to the stage that it had burnt out, through diligent prayer I asked God/Yahweh to take it into His hands and through my Faith in Him He will make it work. It worked but with many problems and much time in prayer and messing around with cables and modem until it connected. I asked and prayed for help to get a new Modem, which I could not afford. My prayers were answered as a sister online sent me a money gift for the ministry I do for God/Yahweh. I was able to buy a new Modem and cable and all works very well and fast now... So the message today is all about: God/Yahweh Will Provide!!!! The passage from the Word of God/Yahweh for today is in the book of Philippians 4:19; “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” In view of life today it is full of many difficult circumstances that many of us must wonder from time to time whether or not God/Yahweh really cares for us or not. All of us have had perplexing situations that we have had to deal with… All of us have had needs, which we have earnestly prayed over… But I want you to know today: NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! We ask God/Yahweh to meet our needs and the needs of others. We seek for God/Yahweh’s provision in our lives. And sometimes we ask ourselves why isn’t God/Yahweh responding to us the way WE want Him to? Well there lies the problem straight away, God/Yahweh does not need to respond to us the way WE want Him to do so. But God/Yahweh will respond when He sees that the time is right to do so in His time not ours!!! But I want you to know today, NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! We may ask ourselves: Is God/Yahweh really personally involved in my life? Did God/Yahweh merely create the universe, set it spinning off into space, and then just become involved in something else? Is He available to each one of us right now? Does God/Yahweh just know our needs or will he meet our needs too? All of us perhaps have struggled with these kinds of questions in our lives. But I want you to know today, NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! The Bible reveals God/Yahweh as our provider. On the pages of Scripture, He is portrayed as the one who sees and cares for all of our needs… GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! He has the very hairs of our head numbered. He knows our frame, He remembers that we are just dust. We hear of His great concern for just a sparrow that falls to the ground. Take that concern and multiply it one hundred fold and that is just the beginning of His concern for you today… I want you to know today, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! The pages of Scripture are abundant with stories of how God/Yahweh came through for His people time and time again: The three Hebrews delivered from a fiery furnace… Daniel delivered from the lion’s den… David delivered from Goliath… Gideon and the remnant delivered from the Midianites… I want you to know today, GOD/YAHWEH WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE!!! “But what about me?” you may say. Can the great God/Yahweh of heaven really provide for me? Sometimes He doesn’t do things when you think they should be done. I’ve asked God/Yahweh for things that He hasn’t given me. I’ve prayed and apparently He hasn’t heard me, or at least, He hasn’t answered me yet… Will God/Yahweh come through for me? I want you to know today, NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWE WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE!!! In Genesis chapter 22 it tells us the story of Abraham and God/Yahweh requesting him to sacrifice his only son whom he loved. The Bible says that God/Yahweh was testing him in verse one. Genesis 22:2 says; “Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”” I cannot imagine the feelings that Abraham must have felt as he heard the Words of God/Yahweh that day and they began to sink into his mind and heart: “This is my only son, the son whom I love. My heir and the son of promise. This is the son through whom the whole world would be blessed. And now the Lord was asking Abraham to give back to God/Yahweh that which God/Yahweh had given to him.” God/Yahweh placed His finger on the most valuable thing in his life and said I want it. Did Abraham love Isaac more than he loved God/Yahweh? Was that what the test was all about? Perhaps, but I believe it was more than that. You see all through Abraham’s life God/Yahweh had been revealing Himself as the God/Yahweh who will provide… When God/Yahweh first spoke to Abraham he told him to leave his family and his home and go to a land that he would show him. Did Abraham obey? He did!!! He left Ur of the Chaldees, but he took his father with him, settled in another place until his father died, and then proceeded on with his relative, Lot. Through all this, God/Yahweh was trying to teach Abraham to trust in him to provide… God/Yahweh then promised Abraham an heir. But then waited for years without fulfilling the promise. Would Abraham trust God/Yahweh? He did!!! But he also tried to help God/Yahweh fulfill His promise. He and his wife devised a scheme whereby Abraham would bring forth a son through Sarah’s handmaiden. Thus, Ishmael was born… But that was not the child of God/Yahweh’s promise. For God/Yahweh had said that he would bless Abraham and Sarah with a son… What was God/Yahweh doing? He was trying to get Abraham to trust Him completely to provide!!! Now God/Yahweh was asking Abraham to trust Him again. Give up the son that was an answer to your prayers… God/Yahweh was once again testing Abraham… The scripture has this to say of Abraham in the book of Hebrews: Hebrews 11:8-11, 17-19; “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the Promised Land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise… By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.” Abraham had come to such a place in God/Yahweh that he trusted God/Yahweh to raise his son up from the dead again. He knew that God/Yahweh would provide somehow… It may not be the way I want Him too, but He will provide!!! So Abraham took Isaac and his servants on a 3-day trip to Mount Moriah. At the foot of the mountain He told his servants; “the boy and I are going to worship and will return again.” You can hear the faith in his statement; “WE WILL RETURN AGAIN!!!” As Abraham and Isaac proceeded up the mountain, Isaac inquires as to where the sacrifice is. We have the fire and we have the wood but where is the sacrifice? Abraham again speaks in faith and says; “The Lord will provide himself a sacrifice.” They prepared the alter, the wood and then Abraham bound Isaac and laid him down on the alter and prepared to plunge a knife into his son… But the angel of the Lord spoke to Abraham at that instant and told him not to slay his son. As we read in Genesis 22:12-14; ““Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.” Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place; “The Lord Will Provide.” (Or some say; “Jehovah-Jirah.”) And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”” Now I want you to know today that He is still Jehovah-Jirah in this place today. He can still provide for you in the time of need. He is still the Lord our provider. NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! I am going to share with you now, the characteristics of God/Yahweh’s provision. The first one is: THE RIGHT THING!!! God/Yahweh always provides the right thing. In this case it was a ram and it was precisely what Abraham needed. Abraham had been obedient and now God/Yahweh had provided that which he needed and nothing else would have been adequate. Just like God/Yahweh provided what Abraham needed … God/Yahweh will provide what you need. He will provide the right thing. He is still Jehovah-Jirah, the Lord our provider. He will meet our deepest need for His greatest glory. The God/Yahweh who made us will take care of us. We will not lack for our needs to be met. I want you to know today, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! Sometimes we are not to clear about what our needs are, though. We think we really need something when the fact of the matter is we just really “WANT” something. The Bible says that; “God/Yahweh knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows our hearts. He knows our minds. He is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. He knows the real you. And you can be confident that he knows the right thing that you need.” You need to trust the all-wise God/Yahweh today that He will bring to your life that which you need. Don’t take matters into your own hands like Sarah and Abraham did in trying to solve God/Yahweh’s problem, but learn to trust Him… It’s when we take matters into our own hands that we get into trouble and get out of the Will of God/Yahweh!!! He is Jehovah-Jirah, the Lord our provider. He is the one about whom the Scripture says; “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Not just ask or think but exceeding, abundantly, and above all… There is nothing that God/Yahweh cannot do for you. NO MATTER WHAT, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! There is another characteristic of God/Yahweh’s provision and it is this: THE RIGHT PLACE!!! God/Yahweh not only provides the right thing for us but He provides it also at just the right place. He provided a ram for Abraham, which was the right thing. But he also provided it at the right place and on the Mount of God/Yahweh. It was the appointed place of God/Yahweh’s provision. Sometimes we miss the provision of God/Yahweh and the blessings of God/Yahweh, because we are in the wrong place at the wrong time. And God/Yahweh sometimes has to let us go through some things to get us to the right place, so He can bless us… Sometimes, because of various circumstances and situations in our lives, because of various difficulties and sins, our hearts can grow hard toward God/Yahweh. At times we come to the place where we are not willing to receive from the Lord, especially if He is trying to speak to us something we do not want to hear… We have placed ourselves back on the throne of our lives. We have exalted our opinions above the direction that God/Yahweh is trying to give. And when we find ourselves in that place God/Yahweh has to bring us to a far different place. Just as He did to the children of Israel when He brought them out of bondage in Egypt and into Canaan. He has to bring us out in order to bring us in. He has to deal with us to bring us to the place where we are willing to receive His provision for our lives!!! God/Yahweh only Blesses those who are open to His Blessing… He will not force Himself upon you. If you want to: Go your own way or do your own thing, be your own boss, trust your own bank account or trust your own wisdom and intelligence and then He will let you do so. But all the while He wants to bring you to the right place to Bless you with the right thing. In Matthew 6:33 we read; “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” If we put God/Yahweh first in our lives, then the Scripture says; “that we will not want for food or drink or clothing because God will supply all of our needs.” But we have to get to the right place and that place is where we are depending on God/Yahweh to be our provider… I want you to know today, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE ALWAYS!!! He will provide: Food for the hungry… Shelter for the cold… Doctor for the sick… Help the troubled… Friend for the lonely… Peace before the storm… Hiding place for calamities… And shield for the battle… Jesus Christ/Yeshua will be anything that you need. He will be your provider. He will be your all in all. I want you to know today, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! The last characteristic of God/Yahweh’s provision is: THE RIGHT TIME!!! God/Yahweh always provides just the right thing at just the right place and at just the right time. If God/Yahweh had waited a second longer Abraham would have plunged that knife into Isaac. It would have been too late. But God is never too late. We may wait too late sometimes but not so with God/Yahweh. But there is no too late with God/Yahweh... He is never too busy to hear your call. He is never in a hurry that He cannot meet your need… But He is always right on time… How many know today that He may not come when you want Him but He is always right on time… His Time!!! We may say; “God/Yahweh has not answered my prayer yet.” Sometimes we fail to understand that God/Yahweh has not committed Himself to our timetable. We need to understand that God/Yahweh knows just what He is doing. God/Yahweh’s ways are above our ways and His thoughts above our thoughts… I want you to know, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! What we need to see clearly is that God/Yahweh is working out His purpose in our lives. It is His plan for us that is important. God/Yahweh is not here to cater to us. But we are here to fulfill the Will of God/Yahweh in our lives, and to fulfill His eternal plan… The good news is not that we have a wonderful plan for our life and God/Yahweh is going to help us fulfill it. But God/Yahweh has a wonderful plan for us. He knows just what we need and just where we need it and just when we need it. He will never be late. Our memory is so short sometimes. We forget what God/Yahweh has done for us yesterday… Many of us could testify today of the goodness of Jesus/Yeshua... We can remember: Brother Jack has finally came to the Lord… Brother Joy was in a car accident… Sister Jill was given a new car for work… Sister Beth found a new job… But do we remember that God/Yahweh here has provided: Brother Joy with healing… Brother Jack will now gain salvation… Sister Beth is now at peace… Sister Jill has been given a financial blessing… How soon we forget sometimes. Don’t forget today that He is Jehovah-Jirah… The Lord God/Yahweh Our Provider!!! He will come through for you!!! I want you to know, GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! In Romans 8:28-39 reads: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” How could Paul make statements like these? Because he knew, GOD/YAHWEH WOULD PROVIDE!!! We need to know today that God/Yahweh will provide for us… We need to boldly say like the Scripture does; “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” Go ahead and trust Him with the needs of your life and note: I didn’t say; “wants the things that we think we need, but what do we really need.” Our passage for today sums up the whole message by saying in Philippians 4:19; “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” I want you to know something today that I have not yet told you: GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! God/Yahweh will provide the right thing, at just the right place, and at just the right time!!! GOD/YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE!!! He did for me, as He will for all of you also… Be Blessed in the name and shed blood of Jesus/Yeshua and God/Yahweh will provide…Hallelujah, Amen!!! PastorJeff Walker
