God bless the kind hearted woman that let me go before her in the ER today in Beeville with my 2 year old. I had taken him to his regular dr yesterday because he had a bug bite that made his leg red hot hard and swollen. We got 2 antibiotics and sent home. Last night he ran fever and the redness spread from his knee to his ankle. I took him to a walk in clinic today to get a 2nd opinion. After paying a $30 copay and waiting 1.5 hrs the dr says" you have to take him to the hospital ER because I cant help him here. He needs an IV." I pack up and leave crying. I went to the ER down the street and checked in. All of the guest in the ER asked what was wrong as they saw I was very upset. The next lady to be called told the nurse to let me take her place as my baby had a fever. I cried again for her kindness. After being released I go through the KFC drive thru and as usual ~ the man tells me " there is a small problem, we ran your card for $244 instead of $24. They never get my order correct. But I am sticking with the happiness from the kind lady.
