God blesses us in so many ways if we would just open our eyes to see them. We had car trouble yesterday in Charleston and broke down at a gas station in Kanawha City. At first we were a little upset but when we really thought about it it was a blessing. If we hadnt broke down at the station we would have probably broken down between the two toll booths with no cell service, after dark, with two kids in the car! I was also blessed enough to have a great boss( Shawn Ball ),who called a friend/mechanic in Charleston to come help us. We also are blessed with two great friends, Adam Farthing and Heather Farthing who came all the way to Charleston to make sure we made it home. How much more could someone ask for? The car troubles continue but we are safe and sound. I am concerned however about how people were scared or unwilling to help us until we got ahold of friends. Some of the people I asked for a jump start looked at me like I was a criminal or trying to scam them. Its sad that people are afraid help someone in need for fear of being harmed or because they just dont care. I hope God blesses each and every one of them as much as we were blessed yesterday and changes their way of thinking because I know this situation has definitely changed mine!
