"God calls you to salvation, to receive pardon, to obtain heaven, and happiness. Yes, this is true, however, all of what He calls us to is secondary to holiness. It was to ‘salvation in sanctification, ’ it was to Holiness in the first place. All other wonderful things hinge on holiness, .. to be set apart for His purpose. Many Christians lack joy and strength, desire to grow. All of these draining attributes scream the fact that they have not given Holiness a proper placement.
