God can use you to help others. Moses had done wrong and was full of excuses. But God had prepared him for the task of leading the Israelites out of Egypt. As prince of Egypt, he learned several leadership skills. When he fled to Midian, he spent years learning about the land. He eventually led the people of Israel through this land. God can also use you to help people. If there is something you need to do for God, however small, don’t make excuses. Instead, trust that God will help you accomplish the task. For example, if you feel God saying you should speak to a lonely person at school, don’t make the excuse that you are shy or that you don’t know that person well enough. God will be with you. (Exodus 4:12).
