God created us to be image-bearers! If Christians are to bear the image of God before the world that means we should not allow hatred, jealousy, bitterness, arrogance, anger, etc. into our heart. This is not the image of Himself that God wants us to portray to the world. Also, as image-bearers of God we should not buy into the lifestyles, ideologies, and actions of those in the world who refuse the bear the image of God. May God help us to always remember that we are to bear His Image to everyone around us!
