God is Good...all the time, even in the darkest ones! I have been through some pretty dark times here lately. Starting Friday August the 22nd I started in the ER at WCMC with Renal Failure, Sepsis, Blood sugar over 1500, severe infection, & a possible stroke. I was unconscious & they told my family that they were giving me around 12 hours to live. WCMC had me transferred to UAMS to either die there or on the way. It might as well have been that I was picked up by angels & taken to UAMS. The next week of my story is what Ive been told because I was sedated for trying to fight the ventilator & tubes. On Saturday August 30th, I was finally strong enough that they let me wake up & I was able to communicate with family, friends, nurses, & doctors. Turns out, I was a severe diabetic with a major infection & had to end up having two surgeries. My diabetes & my infection were both life threatening, but both together almost did me in. I got to go home last Thursday night still on two antibiotics, pain pills, & trying to learn about all of my diabetic medication. This is the first time I was able to even try getting on the computer & Kaylee still had to take over (Hi guys!) If it wasnt for her & my mother, I would be lost. My life has changed drastically but atleast I still have a life to change. I want to thank everyone for every thought, prayer, concern, & well wish. Every single one has been acknowledged. Thank you & I love you all. Gods not done with me yet.
