God is a just God. He holds us accountable for what we do in this life; our right and wrongs doings. As parents, we should set a standard for our children because God has blessed us with that child(ren) when many cant have children. We wonder why some of our kids have become wreck less, disrespect, and killing others kids over unnecessary beefs because we allow them to look up to movie stars or rappers but they should be looking up to us and God as their role model. I havent been the perfect parent, but I promised myself and God that Im going to have an influence in their lives, that influence is my relationship with Christ. If you see a single mother raising a son or daughter by themselves and you know that God wants you to mentor those children, He holds us accountable. Yes, He forgives, but we as parents are held accountable in how we raise our children, teach them in the way they should go and they will not depart from it.
