God is our Refuge! What sustain us when our life seems to be falling apart all around us? It may even seem at times we are carrying the world’s largest cross on our back. Oh, by the way, in moments like this we want to ask, “Where did all my friends go?” This storm has prolonged, and now I am feeling my joy fade away, I NEED HELP LORD? Oh now I remember, I begin to meditate and focus my mind on the Spirit of God, and when I begin to think of all the goodness and what He has for me and others, and what He promised He would do for me now and the wonderful promises of our future. Thank you Lord! I am being restored, I am being renewed, a fresh anointing, thank you Holy Spirit for not letting me SLIP into a state of depression. Remember: What subjects consume your thoughts during the day will control your day. We must always set aside time to dwell SOLELY on the Lord. Psalm 46:1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 145:1-5 I will extol You, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever [with grateful, affectionate praise]. 2. Every day [with its new reasons] will I bless You [affectionately and gratefully praise You]; yes, I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3. Great is the Lord and highly to be praised; and His greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable. 4. One generation shall laud Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts. 5. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works I will meditate. (AMP)
