God is so amazing! On Wednesday, I started coming down with a relentless cough that made my exercise body aches turn into real body aches AND a migraine. By late evening I had developed a fever which made me feel hot one minute and then shaking cold the next. I didnt sleep too well that night. Thursday morning, I was pretty sure I was still running a fever but now my chest felt super congested. I got some expectorant to help get the gunk out of my lungs. I was exhausted and as the day drew on, I began having difficulty breathing. I felt like I was drowning! I had to make my body breathe because it felt like it wouldnt on its own. I had gone to work but by noon, I was ready to go to the ER. My awesome boss graciously encouraged me to go and he covered my route. On the way to the ER, I had an asthma attack and I was panicking. My hands felt nearly numb! I went to the ER, got a nebulizer treatment which was like a miracle! I could breathe! A chest x-ray came back negative for pneumonia (AMEN!) so the doc concluded that I had bronchitis which was exasperated by my asthma. He gave me prednisone and zithromax to be proactive against a secondary infection. By that evening and for part of yesterday, I was miserable still, yet, and again...and I sounded like a man! LOL! Today, I feel amazing. Im barely coughing and...I CAN SING! My singing voice has remained untouched so I can worship at church tonight! I have just kept praying and God has been faithful! I am so thankful!
