God is speaking God is speaking are we listening? The hardest - TopicsExpress

God is speaking God is speaking are we listening? The hardest belief system to break through is a religious belief. Jeremiah experienced this as well as other men of God whom God sent to warn his people of impending doom. This happens because those who hold the keys, who have power and wealth or not, adhere to the status quo. A remnant consists of a small percentage that will be saved by God in comparison to the whole that exist in disobedience to his will. We who can hear him and obey him becoming like he is in Christ are part of that remnant. So trials and tribulations that comes upon us for Christ sake becomes the identification marks for us. These trials and tribulations comes from Satan and his children, they come to steal, kill and to destroy us. Because of this we can find ourselves struggling and fighting in our own ability to survive life. But when we settle down and read the word and hear what God is saying and began to obey him allowing God to burn out of us those things that are destructive in our lives being in opposition to his will for us, we then become over comers. God is speaking, are we listening or are we so caught up in our lives and the religious experiences that we have had that we refuse his unction to go deeper. We will always have interruptions in our lives the parable of the sower makes this clear. But those who press on in Christ, allowing the word to grow its roots deep down on the inside of them germinating and springing forth with Godly fruits, becoming seeds sown in good ground. These become part of Gods remnant. We cannot live in a dark world not having the ability to hear God and know that it is he whom speaks. The world is dark and while living in a dark world Jesus said this to his disciples. “I do what I see the father doing and I say what I hear the father saying”. Peter on the roof top while in a trance having a sheet come down from heaven with all types of animals in it he hears God say “rise Peter and eat”. Peter refusing saying that he never has eaten anything that is unclean, this being his religious position, only to have God say don’t call that which I call clean unclean. Paul on the road to Damascus in rout to persecute those who trusted in Christ, again his religious position, sees a bright light and falling to the ground on his face. He hears Jesus say to him “Saul, Saul why do you persecute me”. These men and not just Peter and Paul only but throughout history men and women who yielded their lives learning how to obey The Holy Spirit having ears to hear did great things for God in Christ. What will Godly history say about us? What will be written in heaven about us who believe? Will it say we made it in just barely by doing what we thought or by our being led by his Holy Spirit? To just make it into heaven is good but to be led obeying hearing and obeying is better. James Zeigler October 31, 2013
