God keeps His promises! What has He promised us? Romans 4:20-25 (NKJV) Abraham “did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Our Daily Bread: “Abraham stumbled, but never failed in his trust in the promises he’d received….through years of waiting and mistaken attempts to help things along. Abraham held on to God’s promises.” Verses 23-25 tells us “Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” God has promised to us to be: “strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light”(Colossians 1:11-12). 1 Timothy 4:7-8 “Reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” May we, like Abraham, “not waver at the promise of God….strengthened in faith, giving glory to God”!!
