God looks at the heart. To a point this is true however God looks at more than the heart. He looks at your mind, your thoughts and your actions and reactions. For example, your at a mini mart filling you vehicle with fuel and you want a pop and a candy bar. The clerk mistakenly only charges you for your fuel and not your other items. Do you quietly just walk away? Thats stealing. If the clerk accidently overcharged you, you wouldnt quietly walk away. You would be wanting them to make it right. Maybe your driving to work and running a little late on time and now your behind an elderly person driving a bit slower than you. Do you get real close to their rear bumper, maybe keep blowing your horn trying to scare them into going a little faster.you finally find a place where you can pass them and as you get beside them and you look over to give them a mean dirty look only to realize this person goes to your church? Do you just ease off your speed and take a deep breath and pass safely when the opportunity arises? Your computer has or should have an anti virus protection and you run a full scan to keep you system running smooth and problem free. Why not let God be your soul and spirit anti virus? Ask him to do a full scan on you and delete any viruses and bugs you may have like anger, swearing, dishonesty, back bitting and many others. Once God deletes these out of your system you will gain personality, your light will shine brighter and you may even feel better about yourself. God I ask you to check my heart and mind and to please remove anything in my life that makes me not the person you want me to be. Clean my soul so my light will shine brighter and clearer. I ask these in your son Jesus Christs name. Amen.
