God never promises to remove us from our struggles. He does promise, however, to change the way we look at them. I look back on some of the struggles I have gone through - many of them totally of my own making - and realize the strength and the spiritual growth that came from them. Our life experiences can always be used to help someone going through something similar - or perhaps to keep them from going through it at all!
