God, please watch over all of those who make their way to work and school today. Keep them safe from the craziness of this world, and particularly from those who place such an insignificant value on human life. Bless and be with those who mourn the loss of those they loved and held dear. Grant the legislature of this land the wisdom to know that a gun never jumped up off a table and killed anyone of its own volition. Gun laws are never going to be a cure for callousness and mental defect. Let them realize this great county is speeding down the same path of the great Roman empire and let us all realize that human life is sacred. No matter how bad you may perceive your life to be, you have no right to take mine or anyone elses. Keep those I love and care for safe this day and let them return to me when their day of toil is done. Amen.
