God really know how to brighten an otherwise long day! As I was going about my business on my 10 hour shift at Jackson Coffee, two New Tribes students walked in, one of whom was from Africa. It turns out he had lived in Congo and in Mozambique (whose national language is Portuguese) and as soon as I heard him say that I greeted him in Portuguese and his face lit up. The next 20 minutes were a rapid fire African and Brazilian-tinged Portuguese conversation, the likes of which Allegiance Hospital, has never seen before. Its was glorious.
