God sure works in mysterious way! Last year, during spring break, - TopicsExpress

God sure works in mysterious way! Last year, during spring break, Kelsey went on a Christian Missions trip to Jamaica. The cost was $1,600.00. Although, Kelsey raised some money for the trip, Melissa and I pretty much paid the largest part of the overall cost. Kelsey had an awesome time and grew spiritually. We (Melissa and I) knew that it was money well spent. Several weeks ago, Kelsey told us that she wanted to go on the 2014 Spring Break Wesley Mission trip back to Jamaica. Since regular college fees are astronomical and we are trying to pay for college without Kelsey taking out any student loans, we decided that in the coming months, she would reach out to family members, friends, and several churchs and ask for financial help and sponsorship. The goal is to raise $1,600. Here is where God works in mysterious ways. Several years ago, a casual friend, who I met at an auction, gave me a toy car. I can still see his face smiling when he gave it to me. He told me when I saw it, I immediately knew I had to get it for you! He bought it at an estate sale. He knew that I was formerly a Georgia Bureau of Investigations Special Agent. He saw me on the television show Unusual Suspects and thought that was so neat. After he gave me the toy car, he passed away. It was a Secret Agents toy tin car. He did not have any family and I only talked with him casually. When he would see me, he would aways call me Special Agent. I always made it a point to talk with him. The toy car had a lot of sentimental value to me. I did not know why he felt compelled to give me a toy car. Like I said,we only talked a few times. Last week, I decided that I would sell some of the items that are collecting dust and donate the money to Kelsey for her missions trip. I saw the toy car, and although it had sentimental value to me, something told me to list the toy car on eBay. I expected to sell it for $100.00 - $200.00. I just sold it for $470.00! That is almost 1/3 of the cost of Kelseys mission trip. My friend has got be looking down and smiling. I always remembered Larrys name because when I met him and he told me it was Larry, I said just like one of the Three Stooges! The stooge named Larry was Larry Fine Larry, my FINE friend, I now know why you gave me the toy car. Thanks Larry! Rest in Peace Larry! Yuk, yuk, yuk. Randy
