God will get us through the tough days. He is working in the background to untangle our larger-than-life problems. He is so close even though He feels so far away. With His help, the load will lighten. The dark skies will brighten. It takes time to unwind what we sometimes wind up. We might not be joy-filled overnight or happy in a heartbeat, but sunshine is coming. Laughter is around the bend. Brighter days are ahead. As long as we close our eyes and trust Him. Yes, trust Him. [Easy to say--harder to do.] But we can do it. One day at a time, one step at a time. One foot in front of the other and hands reaching upward. Hang on with white knuckles. Dont let go. He will get us through the raging waters to the other side. We will be rescued and we will jump for joy. I feel a big hallelujah coming soon! Very soon.
