Gods Gem Child Ministry Daily Devotional Sunday 13th July 2014 Topic: The Holy Spirit Text: John 16: 7 - 8 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of Judgment Jesus was glorified before the manifestation of the Spirit, this displays that until we appreciate the finished work of Christ, and the instruction he passed, we will never see the need of getting the help of the Holyspirit. The place of having power to become sons of God(John 1: 12) is the place of having the holyspirit; a life possesed with the Spirit of God is a life after the heart of God. That made Jesus unveiled some of the mission of the holyspirit to his disciples. He will reprove the world of Sin he will do things as dictated by God.(Jesus has don the path of redemption, the holyspirit will perfect the work of conviction). Hes mission is to guide us, to open our understanding to heavenly things so that we well not go out of it. John 14: 26. Beloved, a life directed by the Spirit of God, is a life walking in the right path. We all need the Holyspirit. The promise is for all, you must not be an exemption. Just as Peter told the people arround on the day of pentecost, Act 2: 28-29. I beseech you dearest to do likewise, repent from your sinful ways, and you shall experience the outpour of the Spirit.
