Gods Judgement Zephaniah 3:6-7 - “I have cut off nations; their battlements are in ruins; I have laid waste their streets so that no one walks in them; their cities have been made desolate, without a man, without an inhabitant. I said, ‘Surely you will fear me; you will accept correction. Then your dwelling would not be cut off according to all that I have appointed against you. ’ But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt. Our Holy God hates sin in those who are closer to him and He hates those who are rebellious and defiled. There will be a time when God will start judging the nations, for His anger is like a consuming fire which can wipe out an entire nation. Are we not responsible for saving the nation? Are we standing in the gap and interceding for our nation? Asking God to clean our political system and bring the righteous to power, who will do His will and carry out His plan. Some of us have been rebellious in our ways and its time to bring correction in our lives before the Judgement Day! and once we accept our mistakes and confess before Him, then He is faithful to forgive us and we become righteous in His sight and the next thing is to pray for our nation that it should not be cut off because of its unrighteousness. We see corruption, idolatry, and every kinds of sin growing in our nation and its time for us to stand in the gap to pray/intercede for our nation to be saved from His wrath. Psalms 100:5 - For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations
