Gods Love Letters..... Have you ever gotten a Love Letter? Well there is nothing that warms the heart and lifts the spirits, like a genuine Love Letter, from the Heart of someone who truly loves you. If you have experienced this, you know what I mean. You cannot wait to rip it open, or click on it, and read the words that bring so much joy to you. Did you you know that God has written many Love Letters to you? One of these is in a prophecy by Isaiah. Isaiah 48:12-17 Listen to Me, O Jacob (means Deceiver), even Israel (means Prince of God) whom I called; I am He, I am the first, I am also the last. 13 Surely My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together. 14 Assemble, all of you, and listen! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; he will carry out His good pleasure on Babylon, And His arm will be against the Chaldeans. 15 I, even I, have spoken; indeed I have called him, I have brought him, and He will make his ways successful. 16 Come near to Me, listen to this: From the first I (Jesus, God the Son) have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I (Jesus) was there. And now the Lord GOD (God the Father) has sent Me (Jesus, and His (Holy) Spirit......(Shows The Trinity!) 17Thus says the LORD (Jesus), your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. God is giving encouragement to Israel, and is promising to send Jesus to show them the way, and not only Jesus but His Holy Spirit to indwell them and guide them in Love. Another Love Letter is in John. John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus the Living Word of God), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. (Jesus was the Creator God) 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:14-18 And the Word (Jesus) became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John (the Baptist) testified about Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I said, He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me. 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace (Love). 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God (the Father) at any time; the only begotten God (Jesus) who is in the bosom (Heart) of the Father, He has explained Him.(to those who receive the Truth) In Acts 9:15 But the Lord (Jesus) said to him (Ananias), Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; He was talking about Saul, who later became Paul. Jesus called him especially to carry the Gospel of Grace to the Gentiles (everyone who is not a Jew is a Gentile). So God did not leave anyone out! As Paul tells us, we as Born Again Believers are Gods Love Letters through Paul to the world. 2 Corinthians 3:2-6 You are our (love) letter, written in our hearts,(being) known and read by all men; 3 being manifested (made known) that you are a letter of (Jesus the) Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the (indwelling Holy) Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4 Such confidence we have through (Jesus the) Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God (the Father), 6 who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter (of the Law) but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the (Holy) Spirit gives life (eternal). Have you read one of Gods Love Letters, that was written to you? He loves you so much and He sent His Love to YOU, from Jesus Who is the God in His Heart.
