Gods Morning Proverbs 23:12 Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge. I read an article this morning about the Cornhusker football team. In this article Head Coach Bo Penli said that in order for his team to win the West Division, they would have to be fundamentally prepared, that they were going to have to spend more time in the playbook even if it meant cutting into their free time, maybe they would not have time to play their Playstations or maybe they would have to put down their phones and study. So to succeed they would have to sacrifice their time. As I was exercising it came to me. Is that not life. If we are to be prepared for our jobs, our businesses do we not have to put in the extra time to be successful. Now let us stop and think about our spiritual life. Do we put in the extra time to succeed or to reach the ultimate goal of eternal life. How much extra time do we spend in Gods Playbook. The Bible is our resource for the answers we are looking for. Our instruction book on how we should live our life. I pray that we would all give some of our extra time, television time, phone time to grow our hearts and minds in the Word of our Heavenly Father. Let us remember the ultimate goal is eternal life in Heaven. As Heaven is forever, a small sacrifice for us to make. For this I pray. Amen Gods Love and Peace
