Gods task for me regarding my sister is over. She died this afternoon at 1pm, 2 months short of her 85th B.D. Born Sept 21, 1929 in Brawley, Ark as the oldest child. She was all our younger boys baby setter while Mom worked in the fields. She was there for me the first 9 yrs of my life including diaper changes and I was there for her the last 10 yrs. a good trade off... She outlived 3 husbands, having poor health in her later years due to a life of hard work. Lke most housewives of her era she kept house and worked in the field and/or logwoods along with their husband. Thank you Velma for being my care giver when I was young and a good listener to my problems in later years.
