GodsWord 4u Today Topic: WAITING; THE PILLAR OF PROSPERITY Text: Hebrews 6:13-15 (KJV) 13For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14[Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.] 15[And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Beloved friends, until Abraham wait and endure he never obtain the promise as said in the above scripture. Also Isaiah 25:9 (KJV) says; 9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. Beloved, one of the strong pillar of prosperity, that makes prosperity to be real is waiting. There is a waiting that has the element of hard working in connection to faith, which in return produce the expected and desire result of prosperity. But there are ignoramus waiting that have no base of working and faith. When your waiting has no basis of hard working in connection to faith, it becomes wasting. Friends, you will not waste in the name of Jesus. 5 TRUTH YOU MUST KNOW WHEN WAITING. 1.When Waiting,Dont be Tired in your COVENANT WORK: The reason is that there is a DUE season. If you are on your feet when that season comes you will reap your harvest but if you faint, you will fail and fall. If it will work, it ought to have worked by now. That is murmuring. When you murmur, you destroy your seed sown, and then you will have to start all over again. Hear me friends, God runs a due season calendar on each one of us. When you are due, He will not deny you. But if you faint before you are due, you will loose it all. Its better to wait or you waste. Abraham heard directly fromGod, yet he needed patience to obtain the promise. If you will not be patient, then you may end up a patient in the hospital. Until you are patient with God, you will not be qualify for your harvest- Luke 8:15-16 (KJV) 15But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Look at that scripture, though the seed fell on a good heart and good soil or ground, it could only bring forth fruits with patience. 2. When Waiting Adjust Your Taste To Match your level per time. God knows your size, you dont have to impress Him. Hear what the Psamist said in Psalm 37:1-11 (KJV) Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.3Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the Lord[; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6[And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. 10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be[: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11[But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Friends am not in haste to be rich, I just know that am going to be rich hear what the Bible says in Proverbs 28:19,20 & 22 (KJV) 19He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. 20A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. 22He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him. 3. When Waiting Keep His Way: Hear what the Bible says in Psalm 37:34 (KJV) 34Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 4. When Waiting Live The Anxiety-free Life: Dont be ruled by and guided by material possessions, rather be guided by the principles of life that have been delivered to you, and you will live well. It takes a lots of discipline to wait, but God is never late. When you misee God, you missed good, but when you start counting on God, things start opening up for you. It is the blessing of God that makes rich and it added no sorrow as Proverbs10:22(KJV) Says 22The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. 5. When Waiting Dont be Staggered in your faith: concerning Abraham, the bible said in Romans 4:18-20 (KJV) 18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Saras womb: 20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Waiting without staggering, undaunted by negative circumstances. Friends there is a change coming your way, but that change requires waiting without staggering by negative circumstances, but you must despise all odd, and you must hold unto the word of God which is Gods promises like Abraham did. Job said in Job 14:14 (KJV) 14If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. I decree your desire change on every side shall come in the name of Jesus. Be in your church this morning or during the week.
