Going on I wrote this when learning to live and go on when I had wanted to quit yet knew I would not Loneliness is a silent thing It echoes through our mind It leaves our bodies not wanting To move or do a chore As you quietly look around The reasons for doing is gone So were do we find the strength To pick up and carry on We have to force our mind To follow a new and different path For now you know you walk alone Yet life is there to live Yet at times we do not want to It would be easier just to quit But I have never done that So I dig deep within myself Find a new way to go on A new reason for to live The first I find has always been One large and black beast A Bouvier to make a change To bring joy again to me To bring noise to a silent house A million reasons to go on He now walks beside me That giant padding beast He quickly becomes my joy My life and partner now My house is no longer silent Joy is starting to return Oh the memories they never leave They have soften with time Soften with living a different life For now I know life goes on.
