Going through troubled times, but faith holds tight, though absolutely strained. Punished while not even aware of it.. too young to know. For, Ive been dealt the hand that makes for a difficult recovery. Outcome: A person, myself, never registered within the confines of my birth city. Now making for no proof of being born there, nor anywhere else, for that matter. Mother, deceased. Father, at 86, dementia stricken... no help. I now face a world where an ID is everything. (A valid ID.) Contact Vital Statistic, sure... done that. Thing is; I need an ID to obtain my birth certificate, yet need the birth certificate to obtain an ID. Good thing is, seems I was never registered, so I can quickly get off the merry-go-round of the: Gimme your id, so I can give you your birth certificate/ No, gimme your birth certificate so I can give you an id, nonsense! No registered child means; no birth certificate! And there it is.. my problem in a nutshell. My current ID is expired, I cannot renew without a birth certificate, for which one does not exist. So, how do I corner the Job Market, without an ID that is currently VALID? Homelessness is a status, but it always has room for 1 more, as it is ALWAYS HIRING!
