Going to attempt to explain a series of things that happened to me - TopicsExpress

Going to attempt to explain a series of things that happened to me today, that have me smiling. Not sure I can explain it clearly in writing, without doing a whole book. I was on my way home when it hit me I really should go to the hospital to visit a lady who had major surgery. While en route, aChaplain friend called to say she was already there at Pres. w the lady. Since there was no need for both of us to be there, I decided to go see a lady at UNMH who was in a serious accident, who Ive been visiting. Her condition has improved, so was moved to a new floor. As I got off the elevator, a nice looking older gentleman recognized me and said hello. We chatted for a few moments, and I learned his son was there for a serious problem. I asked if I could see him and he took me to the room. His son and the whole family was there. When I asked him why he was there, he explained his condition was caused by a life issue, one I had struggled with for years. We chatted, I encouraged him, told him to call if I can help, then prayed for him with the family and left to see the lady. She was hurting bad, but we had an encouraging visit, and prayed. I called her husband who had been there fw her for weeks, but had gone to his uncles to take a shower. It hit me he might enjoy a meal and some conversation outside the hospital. Invited him to lunch and he showed up with his uncle. We had the greatest conversation! Turns out, his uncle struggled with the exact same issue the man in the other hospital room was dealing with, and had even more in common with him than I did. I gave him the mans name and room number, and he promised he would visit and pray with him too. What are the odds of all this happening? I didnt even want to go to start, but was trying to be obedient to what I felt I should do. She was moved to the same floor...his father just happened to be there in the hall the moment I came out of the elevator....we had a connection...he had a connection witth the man I had lunch with, the one I didnt even invite (but am So glad he came). I do NOT believe in coincidence...SO now I have EIGHT new friends, and cant WAIT to see what God is going to do through all of this!!
