Then, people will appreciate your leadership.-----Nelson Mandela Honestly speaking, the death of Mandela has cast the Africa as a continent in the mode of a vast geographical expression with deficiency of credible leaders in the eye of the international community, I chose to restrict myself to Africa not the black race, because my contact with Dr. Martin Luther King (jnr) in Atlantas house revealed to me that a black man is long ripe for the leadership stage of the globe, and it delights me that US President Barack Obama is actually proving the assertion right. However, it saddens one to note that a nation of the largest population of black men and women could find herself in the armpit of an inept leadership, a situation that has exposed this polity called Nigeria to opprobrium. And this clueless leaders have rubbed their insult on the only Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka produced by the dint of hard work. The global literary icon is now being compelled to explain to the world the warts and pimples of the ruling class that produced an insecured President with a stark illiterate wife who has become an object of ridicule by her effort. Imagine, a dog knows how to breast feed her puppies, but knows how to exterminate the young grasscutters. Recall that when President Jonathan was giving out his daughter, adopted one for that matter, he distributed golden iPhone which could not be less than 1000 US dollars per head, and he caused the entire state including markets to lockdown for presidential wedding, but all he could do immediately after 276 innocent girls who elected to go to school in educationally disadvantaged area were abducted in Chibok by some ragtag psychopaths was to dance to skelewu rhythm in Kano, where he went to campaign for reelection. In a sane country like India, PDP, the party of the President would be thrown out of power summarily for that insensitivity, and to add salt to the sore, the President who had scheduled to visit the spot of kidnap a month after our girls had been languished in sambisa forest chickened out on security reason, if I get it right. So, the US Senator John MacCain was right to have declared Jonathan presidency practically non-existence, because a presidency that lives in perpetual denial is not needed as advocated by Thomas Hobbes that, an unjust society should be terminated. I strongly advocate that Nigeria should go the way of India that has just chased the Congress Party out of power in 2015, and the struggle to chase the impostor in Abuja should begin with Governorship elections in Osun and Ekiti states.
