Goldbug Fire Rescue responded to a reported injury accident around 5pm today, on I-75 at the 15 mile marker northbound. Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly assisted workers from Whitley County EMS with patient care. 1 lane of travel was temporarily closed until the wreckage could be cleared. Fire personnel remained on scene for about an hour conducting traffic control and scene safety until the scene was cleared. The Sheriffs Department investigated the accident. Goldbug Engine 93 and Goldbug Quick Response Vehicle QR 94 responded with 8 firefighters.
