Gonna do some more night walking tonight, take advantage of the cooler temps. Theres sort of a weird bonus that comes with walking at night too, when youre walking an unused sand-and-gravel railroad maintenance road. Theres this sense of other-ness or apart-ness from the rest of the world, a disconnect that really puts you into your own head. Theres cars buzzing past on the interstate, just 100 ft away past the tracks and trees, theres shopping centers visible and gas stations etc, but youre kind of invisible from all that. I cant quite put my finger on it but your (for lack of a better word) bullshit sort of falls away and youre more honest with yourself.
