Gonna rant here for a few minutes........This week I went on the Healthcare.gov website, you know, the Obozocare website, to help a family member sign up for health insurance since the deadline to sign up is March 31 (which will probably be postponed again....you know, since Harry Reid says that people are too stupid to know how to use the internet). After creating an account for them and entering accurate information......you know, name, address, date of birth, social security number.....stuff like that, I was notified that they were unable to verify his identity and that he had to call a number to verify over the phone. When he called and answered all of their questions, guess what? They were still unable to verify his identity! No explanation of WHY they were unable to verify........ After logging out and going back to the main healthcare.gov page and entering generic info, such as age, income, single coverage, etc. it advised him that he would have to shop for coverage in the private sector.......hmmm.........ok............ So I go to the Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield website and guess what he is eligible for? The cheapest policy available is $200+ per month with a $6,350 deductible!!! Really?? Can anyone explain to me how this is Affordable Healthcare????? And on top of that......the March 31st deadline is not just to sign up for Obozocare, its to get ANY health coverage! If you dont sign up through the healthcare.gov website or purchase insurance through a private insurance company such as BC/BS by March 31st, guess what? Unless you have a qualifying circumstance, you cant even BUY health insurance until November! So whereas you used to be able to buy health insurance whenever you wanted to, at a reasonable monthly rate with a reasonable deductible, now, thanks to that idiot in the White House and people like Nancy Pelosi who ignorantly said We have to pass it to see whats in it, you now are restricted to only being able to buy health insurance during certain times of the year, you are going to pay stupid monthly rates and your deductible is going to be outrageous to the point that you might as well not even have it!! But if you dont, you get to pay their little tax.......does anyone other than me see the STUPIDITY of this Affordable Healthcare Act????? Im neither a Republican nor a Democrat, but this epic failure of a law was crammed down our throats with the exclusive votes of Democrats only, not one single Republican voted for this horrendous poor excuse of a law. That should tell us all something right there and if it doesnt, get your flipping head out of the sand!! Rant over.
