Goochs Garlic Run is next Wednesday. This is a HUGE motorcycle rally where 100% of proceeds (even from any food purchased) goes to the 4 local families. The event is at the Rockaway Mall (you cant miss it) from 4:30 - 6:30 with WDHA broadcasting with games and prizes for the kids. Theres about 2,000 bikes that leave promptly at 6:30 heading to Iberia in Newark for even more fun. Come out and support the charity, and if you ride, lets go together! Here are the kids that benefit from the charity: Ian Michael Burke from Hamburg, NJ is 14 years old. He was diagnosed at 3 1/2 months of age with cerebral palsy. Leigh-Ann and Eric Burke are his parents and he has one sister, Sarah who is 11 years old. Dromique Douglas Mann from Ringwood, NJ is14 years old. Dromique suffers from Malt Lymphoma and Common Variable Immuno-deficiencies. Dromique’s parents are Renee and Elmer and he has one brother, Ayden who is 7 years old. Peyton Jude Zietelli from Boonton, NJ is 2 years old. Peyton has a rare form of cancer that develops in the soft muscle tissue. Peyton has 2 sisters, Taylor 10 and Averi who is 7. Her parents are Michelle and Matthew. Tyara Lopez is from Newark, NJ. She is 14 years old and has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Tyara lives with her Mom and Dad, Elvira and Manny, her brother Manny, 20 and her sister Mia who is 9. The families are usually there as well to enjoy the festivities as well!
