:) Good Deed Done For The Day The girls and I were out Queensgate today and we found a young boy who had lost his mother and sister. The poor little dude was so frightened he started crying ans he was going down the escalator. Some strangers we standing behind him and didnt notice him crying, another couple saw him and seemed worried for the wee lad. So my girls and I followed him down to the bottom floor to see if he is okay. I walk up to the young boy and ask Excuse me, are you looking for someone? Are you lost? The poor kid takes his hands out of his mouth and says I dont know where my Mum & Talia is. I was so sad to hear this. I turned to him and said My name is Nani, and Im going to help you find your Mum, is that okay? He replied by nodding his head. As we were tracing his footsteps to the last place he saw his family, I was trying to calm him and make him feel at ease. He was 5yrs old, his mum was wearing a white top and his family were from Napier. As we approached the toilets where he last saw his family, his sister turned around seeming a little annoyed Zayne, where were you? Ive been waiting for you for ages! (she was about 8yrs-9yrs old). He just went up to her and gave her the cutest big hug ever x I asked Are you okay chap? He replied This is Talia - My sister I was telling you about. Ill be okay now Nani - Thank you and the sister took him to see his mum. Honestly, I felt a moment fulfillment knowing that I helped someone in need. Some key things this experience taught me: 1. Dont jump to conclusions, even if you are frustrated. 2. When someone needs your help, dont be too quick to turn the other cheek. 3. Its better to take action then not too - doing nothing doesnt change anything. Im glad I decided to do something about it :) #mygirlies #watermelon #GoMAD2014 #MakeADifference xx ,
