Good Evening Everyone, At the very beginning, I want to thank every single person in this wonderful grp. I’m so pleased to be a member though I’m still a University student and a novice teacher who happens to get her training in a private school. So obviously every single task, post, sample, ideas were of a great help to me so far. THANK YOU. The fact of me posting today in the association wall is the disparate need of help. As was mentioned before, I’m a Master student who’s preparing in collaboration with Rokia Touhami for an MA THESIS dealing with Language and Gender: differences between males and females using English as a FL. As a foreign lge, English is not spoken anywhere in everyday life except when it is used for chatting. Thus, our case study was supposed to be a group of ppl who master the lge and can use it in real conversations. But our biggest fear was finding serious ppl to help us out, and we couldn’t find much better than this group; hoping that teachers in the field and authentic-alike users of the lge can incorporate. The idea of “the real conversations” is to participate in some events you’ll be invited to join in Hangouts using your Google+ accounts. You, teachers, are going to discuss different debatable topics for, say, an hour. This way, we can collect data, compare and make conversation analysis easily.
