Good Evening Everyone:) WOW. I have to admit I really enjoyed that. The people on this group are AMAZING. This was our first real project and I think it has been an outstanding success. First and foremost we all came together and proved if we stand together we can make things happen. And when we make things happen the Animals we love so much WIN WIN WIN:) This is what SB&PI is all about! This is what we can do as a Global family. Just for those that dont know this groups objective is to grow as big as possible so we have a large support to action projects and work been done for Animal Welfare and Social Projects. This is why there is so much focus on growing the group. 1 week ago we started this campaign. We were sitting on 2180 members. We received donation commitments to supply 10kgs of Dog & Cat Food to give to Shelters for every 100 new members we added to the group. About 3 hours ago we had not quite made the original target of 2000 new members = 200kgs of food. We started interacting with members and things got moving. I made a few quick phone calls and arranged that once we reach 2000 members all extra members over that would double the amount donated. We had an exciting countdown to midnight and i could see members rushing around to find members. It was AWESOME:):):) Again WELL DONE EVERYONE! This is what we achieved: 2000 new Members = 200kgs (441 lbs) and the bonus 557 more members = 120kgs (265 lbs) TOTAL 320kgs (705lbs) I will contact the Sponsors tomorrow and submit the numbers to have the Donations released. I will be sharing this to 4 Shelters and Projects whom I will publish tomorrow as well. We will take photographs when donations are delivered and share with you. I am negotiating sponsorships with companies in USA and hope to run a similar project next week. If you added members please post on you FB pages what we are doing so they understand our goals and we will hopefully have them adding their friends to support our next project. I do believe this is a taste of things to come. We are a Family and together we have the unified power to really get things done and make changes.
