Good Evening Everyone! Well, today there were a lot of ups and - TopicsExpress

Good Evening Everyone! Well, today there were a lot of ups and downs, especially with the death of Robin Williams. He was an awesome comedian and I really enjoyed the work he did. Now, today was my weigh-in day, and I was going in with my hopes high and ready to see that 460lbs mark to show I can rock! Well, lets just say the scale went in the right direction. As you can see in the video from the doctors office, I only dropped 13.2lbs (or 0.44lbs per day). I am now at 479.4lbs as of today. My total weight lost since May is 91.6lbs. I have lost, this year alone, at total of 116.6lbs. I am going to take this as a small win, and not be down about it. I am still loosing weight, but I need to make some changes in the next 90 days to really loose more weight. I will be doing a cardio session 3 days a week with my weekly workout routine. They will be spread apart, and I might do the cardio at home, or at the gym. I will be looking at my nutritional intake and re-calibrating that. Might get a nutritionist to help me with that, since food is a battle for me! I have more to say about my trip to the doctor this morning, that I will discuss below. Now, today I did my Back and Leg day, and I had quite the sweat going on from that. Below is my workout from today: 1) 9 minute warmup on the Treadmill at and incline of 2 at 3.0MPH. 2) Seated Leg Press - 4 sets of 15 at 380lbs 3) Seated Row - 4 sets of 12 at 155lbs 4) Seated Leg Press (calves) - 4 sets of 20 at 120lbs. 5) Free-Weight High Row - 4 sets of 15 at 160lbs 6) Squats (TRX) - 4 sets of 15 7) Row (TRX) - 4 sets of 15 Todays workout was good, but I decided to go back for round two today and I hit up a cardio class called Groove N Move. It was an awesome 45 minute session and I official say I cannot dance, but I really tried and did everything in the session. It really worked my body and felt good. Carly was an awesome instructor and I wish I could move like her, but that will come in a long time LOL! TOTAL WORKOUT TIME TODAY - 2 hours and 5 minutes. Now, at the Doctors today, I asked them to take measurements as I wanted to know how much I have lost. First, they did a BMI measure on me with the scale and I have dropped from 65 to 55 in this time frame. That is awesome! As well, I have lost 4 inches on my arms, 6 inches on my chest, 9 inches around my stomach, 5 inches around my thighs, and 3 inches around my calves. I could not believe the inches I have lost, by only loosing 13.2lbs I guess I am rocking and rolling with that! Now, my Doctor said that he can see that I have gain muscle in my chest, arms, back and legs as the measurements were being done. He said that I did not have that kind of muscle definition before. He said that could have attirbuted to the fact I did not lose as much weight as I expected, but helped loose the inches. All I can say is that I will continue to fight, be strong, move forward, re-calibrate, and continue to rock this journey. Also, today, I got a nice package in the mail about nutrition from Health Canada. Very surprised about that, but it was good. It had some good tips that will help me adjust my nutritional intake. As well, like I said earlier, I might be looking into a Nutritionist as this is something that I really need in order to avoid nutritional mistakes. I guess I was eating more clean that I have done in the past, but not as clean as I would have liked. I track what I eat, so I guess that would be a good starting point when it comes to making changes. I want to give Everyone at Performance who is behind a huge shout out as your comments today were helpful! Again, I love the awesome atmosphere of Performance Fitness and Training! Oh, on a side note, I am going to beat myself up Wednesday with a Demo Crossfit Session that it booked. That will be fun! Cannot wait to write about that experience! The Crossfit session will be in lieu of my arm and shoulder day! I am going to end off todays blog with a statement that I feels sums up today and how I feel: I went to war and battled a small fight. I came out with some bumps and bruises, but I felt like a champion with my accomplishments. I was able to go harder and farther, and as I move forward, I will continue to test my limits. I am a survivor and I will win each battle that comes forth. I will re-tool and I will make adjustments, but all for the greater good. I will not give up and I will not give in. I will make it and show the world that I am the true leader and fighter that I display! I have no idea where I come up with these things, but I am proud of what I write! Everyone, you continue to rock and I appreciate all the support you give! Thank you again! Have a good night Everyone! Continue to be awesome! Scott Keaters Keats
