Good Finally Friday! Im in for Sean tonight. The sunshine made an appearance today and will stick around for a while! Overnight, another clear and chilly night on the way. Lows dipping around the middle 20s. The winds that have been rather breezy all day, especially on the ridgetops, will begin to fade as we advance through the night. Saturday brings more sunshine and more seasonable conditions. Temperatures Saturday will be just a shade cooler than today. We’ll reach the mid 40s tomorrow in a majority of locations. Sunday, out ahead of a cold front, we’ll have a few more clouds around as well as the chance for a shower… although most of the concentrated rainfall will remain to our east, we can’t entirely rule out a shower in the afternoon, especially south and east of Lynchburg. Highs Sunday reach about 50 degrees. Looking ahead, Martin Luther King, Jr. day brings more sunshine behind the cold front, the winds shift directions, we’ll top out near 50. Similar story for Tuesday. Wednesday brings a few showers possible. Thursday and Friday look dry before another system could bring the potential for wintry weather on Saturday.
