Good Friday. I was raised a Catholic and attended catholic schools and studied theology. I just got back from a walk with Reign, my dog, in the rain and saw so may cardinals chirping and flying in bliss, enjoying the steady downpour that I could not help think of my mom who passed away ten years ago. She loved cardinals and when I see one, I think of her-every time. She told me once that it always gets cloudy or rains on Good Friday. I smiled and said, sure mom. For the last ten years I have made a mental note of the weather on Good Friday. She is ten for ten this year. Maybe it is time to go back to church.
