Good Friday Morning. We take a look at the Monday storm system - TopicsExpress

Good Friday Morning. We take a look at the Monday storm system with this update. Mostly sunny skies, with a few passing clouds, and chilly conditions. Daytime high temp will remain in the low 40s with an overnight low in the mid 20s. A stiff North Westerly breeze will make it feel much cooler outside and may also produce a few snow flurries as lake effect snow bands coming off of the Great Lakes are making into Central PA. Saturday plenty of sunshine and relaxed winds with a daytime high in the lower to mid 40s. A chilly, but nice day to get more leave clean up duties done. Sunday, sunshine early, followed by increasing clouds by the afternoon. Daytime high will range in the low to mid 40s. Our eyes have been on this storm system poised to impact Lebanon county from the Sunday night/ Monday time frame. Currently as it stands on the mix of computer guidance at this time it is looking like a Monday event, starting out as wet snow, but quickly changing over to a cold rain for most of the event, before changing back over to a brief period of snow before exiting the county. Nothing is set in stone at this time so this is merely just a first idea of what we are thinking per a general blend of the computer guidance. We still have all of today and again on Saturday to get a better idea on all of the details of this storm system. Remember snow lovers, it is only mid November and we have plenty of winter months that provide snow to come. Regardless and non the less, not totally dismissing a snow threat, but confidence is growing to favor a more wet vs white event this go around. One thing is for sure... and that is the COLD air will filter in by Tuesday with daytime high temps remaining in the 30s with windy conditions making it feel like it is in the 20s! Burr! As always, we will continue to keep you all posted. ~Justin
