Good MORNIN Possums. Mother Possum is so pleased to be coming to you LIVE from POSSUMTROTT HILL!!!! I have to take the rental car back today and get BACK to my regular morning meeting. I ALSO am pleased to share that I can put money BACK into the bank. You know.....when you are sober....it is amazing how much money you DONT spend at Miss America. I only played $20.00 in the casino.....THATS ALL!! I did buy myself a magnet for the fridge that reads, Back In the Day.....I was the SHIT!!!! It made me laugh so hard. We did pretty good on our diets while we were away too. During the parade I was bad and had a soft pretzel and some cotton candy from the sweet shop that was right behind our seats. :/ I am REALLY ready to spend a couple of hours with Momma today and take her something good to eat. Uncle Woody was so good to check on her regularly while we were gone. I also bought a Christmas Gift for someone special while I was away. Trump Plaza closes today so their LANDAU jewelry counter had beautiful EXPENSIVE things at 80% off.......I took advantage of getting someone something at I could have never afforded at regular price. All in all a great trip. I love seeing my old pageant friends from all over the country and this year I made some new ones. As for the new Miss America......I too was a bit stunned.....but it is what it is and she will no doubt be good on the road with children. I believe in this program whole heartedly and know it DOES change young womens lives for the better. The knowledge one gains from simply being a part of the Miss America Experience does not hold a price tag or jealousy.......it is immeasurable. Love you all.....and its OFF to meet the day!!!!
