Good Monday afternoon to my family & friends. I thought Id post a quick treatment update while Im at lunch. As most of you know, I finished chemo on May 1st & had my last surgery on June 16th. I got prosthetics on July 7th & boy what a difference they have made! You dont realize how much you missed something until you have it back & then its like Wow! lol I still have to get the Herceptin every 3 weeks for the rest of this year, but thats a breeze comparatively. Im also taking Tamoxifen for the next 5-10 years, but again, Ive been incredibly lucky as far as side effects go. I can definitely feel that my energy is back. I started Weight Watchers last Monday & was down 4 lbs this morning, so Im on the way on that front. The only thing I wish is that my hair, eyebrows & eyelashes would grow back in faster & more evenly. :p On another front, Im putting my house back on the market hopefully by the end of this week. Ive heard now is a good time to try to sell. Weve found a great apartment downtown that we hope to be able to get into. This is in preparation to hopefully move to the west coast within the next few years. I hope you are all doing well. Love, Angie
