Good Morning. :) A tribute to my husband, Chuck Harris. ( It will be long, fair warning ;) ) Today, 48 years ago, the world welcomed an incredible human being. My husband. Chuck. He is an incredible man on so many levels. But, he is also, one of the most humble men I have ever had the fortune to meet. First his role as a father. He is a Father first. He is so proud of his daughters, his twins, Heather and Magan. Now, Magan has given him a set of twin Grand babies, Asher and Harper. He could not be happier. He has welcomed my Jeremy and Jessica as his step- kids. He treats them with love and is always supportive of them. They were 16 and 19, when we melded our families. He is a family man of huge proportions. He is always there for his Mom and family. He goes the extra mile and never complains about his various obligations. Trips home to Hopi are frequent. Our Kainoa, loves his PAPA! To see him play and love his Grandson, is a very happy feeling. :) He is an exceptional musician, on so many levels. He composes music, arranges, writes lyrics and is an incredible guitarist. Singing his original songs, he conveys his meaning with emotion and a passion. He truly has a musicians heart and soul. As a working man. Oh my!! He has been with Ghaster Painting and Coatings, for over 27 years!! He gives all to his employers. Annnd, as my husband, Oh my goodness. When we met over 17 years ago, at a gig in Scottsdale, I was smitten! Which at the time was not my deal. He walked through the door at this club and I damn near fell off my bar stool! True story! We have battled hard for our love and our marriage. We walked through some very dark times and are lucky to have enough love to get through it! We also have had some great experiences. The trip to the UK, with him and the rest of Clan Destine, was amazing. Our wedding was incredible. Buying our first home together priceless. He is my all and makes me better than I could ever have dreamed of being. We are a partnership, and institution, a team, and parents who would do anything for their children. When I see him, I see his Father, Tony. He told me once. I, can only do what my Father taught me to do. The right thing. That truly epitomizes who he is. He is Tonys son. Happy Birthday, my love. I love you, forever.
