Good Morning All! Charlie made it home safe, tired but safe. Made two arrest, got in at 11:30pm and had to be back up at 4:00am. Up early with him having a little breakfast.....I listened to him voice his concerns about the up coming verdict release and I was scared out of my mind for him, but like a good police officers wife....we NEVER let them see OUR fear. As we watched the news and listened to this coalition make THEIR demands known for the upcoming release of the verdict that will decide the fate of Ofc. Wilson, I cant help but think....JUST WHO IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!! You want a Heads Up before the verdict is released, and stating that IF there IS violence committed it will be of the fault of the police? And, even better....you dont WANT the police to wear protective gear to shield themselves from incoming debris thrown by protester? Cause in doing so the police would me escalating outrage and emotions from the crowd? And, let get this straight too, you dont want the police to arrest ANYONE for any minor infractions they might see? You also want the police to look Non-Militarized because it is a slap in the face to the protesters? So, basically you to REMOVE the police all together and allow you to do what ever the hell you want without recourse? Hold on everybody....let me go sallow some thumb tacks and crap out a unicorn! It is amazing to me that people like this are even allowed to walk among us in todays society. The police are here to well....POLICE! They are not here to tuck you in and sing you gently to sleep in a safe loving environment! If they are going to do THEIR job effectively? we have got to let them do that! Now, I know there are some over zealous cops out there that cant wait for this shit storm to jump off, thats why all the departments in the bi state have selected officer that will respond first to the area.....But, to give in to these people demands is to me, turning the city over to the criminals and professional protesters that travel here from around the country just to make trouble ad make matters worse. I ask....what about the officers safety? Doesnt he/she have the right NOT to be harmed? NOT to be brutalized also? NOT to be spit on, feces thrown on them and urine? Oh yeah people that is what the assholes are doing to them. And you want them to let their guard down? Now my hubby?...that man will break it off in ya, and would give a damn if it was caught on tape! Did the cops get and Advance notice when they throw Molotov cocktails? Did the cops get and Advance notice when the shot up a police car? Did the cops get and Advance notice when they showed up to two cops homes? NO! your credibility factor is when out the window where you should follow behind them! If the powers that be bow down and give in to these people and allow them to circumvent the system and cut the balls off our police departments? We wont have a Pit Bull of a police force....we will have cute, cuddly, fluffy lil poodle and if THAT happens? Its time to put that dog to sleep! My Thoughts
