Good Morning All, Thank you for participating in this 3rd Annual Pottstown Athletic Club / CrossFit Pottstown Zombie Run. This event will start at 8:00 am and will run a counter clockwise rotation. A station manager will be on site at each station to provide instructions. There will be water at each location in case you run out of yours. I suggest all participants carry a cell phone in the event of a personal emergency. Depending on at which station you start, you will move onto the next sequential numerical station. (example, if you start at station 2 you will advance to station 3 and so-on.) Each station has parking available. Please be at your assigned station by 7:30 am for staging, and prepare to begin at 8:00am You will start and end at the same station.(example - if you start at station 4 you will complete the run at station 4.) Arrive at the station you signed up for, check in with the station manager and stretch out and prepare to participate. The Station Manager will provide instruction. For those who have children and would like to have them made up as zombies there will be a table at Pottstown Athletic club 21 N Hanover Street where there will be several girl scouts providing the makeup service for free. The Brick House restaurant, located at 152 E High Street, will open at 8:30 am for breakfast and lunch will begin at 11:00am. This will be our post event rallying spot. (see attached flyer.) Pottstown Athletic club will open its doors at 6:00am. Anyone not sure of event instructions is welcome to stop in and see Rob for clarification. Run Route: Station 1 Manatawny Park, Veterans Memorial , immediate cross roads are Manatawny street and w Second street. Parking Available at this location, 50 Walking Lunges Proceed south through the park trail to King street. Station 2 Manatawny Park, King Street or Rt 663 entrance, Both are the same, parking is available at this location, 50 Box jumps Proceed through the miniature golf park to high street then proceed east to Smith Family Plaza. Station 3 Smith Family Plaza located at 100 East High street, parking is at the rear of the park, 2 laps around the park with a Heavy bag, or child carry your option. Proceed east on High Street to the clock tower at High and Charlotte. Station 4 Clock Tower, located at the intersection of High and Charlotte, parking available at this location, 50 Wallballs. Proceed east on high street to Sunoco at Adams Street. Turn Around point, while running east on the south side of High Street you will proceed to the intersection of High and Adams - there will be a Sunoco located at this point. At the red light cross to the North side of high street and Proceed west to the intersection of High and Franklin, a Wells Fargo Bank. Station 5 Wells Fargo Bank, intersection of High and Adams, there is parking at this location, 50 Kettle Bell swings. Proceed west to Hanover street then turn north to Pottstown Athletic Club. Station 6 Continue west to Pottstown Athletic Club 21 N Hanover street, parking available at the rear. 500 meter row. Proceed west on King Street to Manatawny then north on Manatawny to second street at which point you enter Manatawny park on your left past the spray park to the Veterans Memorial, Station 1. walkjogrun.net/routes/current_route.cfm?rid=25F7EC6B-C894-2CBF-D5E386D1E56E2E54&success=1
