Good Morning/Almost Afternoon! I just got back from the Eye Doctor. I got good news and not so good news. The good news is that I will have new glasses next week sometime. YAY!!!!! The not so good news is that my Cataract has taken a growth spurt and if these new glasses dont do the trick then I will have to be scheduled for surgery. Bummer. The thing is, Im not afraid of having the surgery because I know that when my late husband put it off for years and I met him and encouraged him to have the surgery and he finally did, he was so impressed with it that he couldnt wait to have the next eye done. He said the difference was like night and day. I have since relieved the fears of several people facing the same decision and they were also satisified with the outcome. If they can do it, then so can I. Today is a little overcast but its not hot which Im really thankful for. I dont feel like putting up with a hot, muggy,steamy day. Were supposed to get more rain this week which means our grass will jump up 3 inches overnight again. Lol! We cant seem to stay ahead of it. Sometimes I think our rain has Miracle Grow in it. One thing Im thankful for is: I HAVE GRASS! It may not be the most expensive brand or weed free but I have grass. That means I dont have big mud puddles when it rains and I dont have gravel all over my yard. Even if I gripe about my grass growing 3 inches over night or not being able to get it mowed as often as I want to at least I have it and not just dirt or sand. That makes me happy.
