Good Morning, Andrew Page here from the Local Newsroom: Recently, we announced the NSW Government has secured the Oceania Cross Triathlon championships and the Australian National Cross Triathlon Championships to be held in the Snowy Mountains in 2015 and 2016. It will be coupled with a weekend multi-sport festival at the Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa generating millions of dollars in revenue for the local economy. Chairman of Tourism Snowy Mountains Peter Cochran has welcomed the announcement which will further help promote the Snowy Mountains as a summer toruist destination. This has been one of the major goals of Tourism Snowy Mountains
